NDIS Speech Pathology

Your Partner in Communication and Connection

Communication for everyday life

Functional speech therapy to support clear communication, social interaction and participation at home, in the community and at work/volunteering. (Speech pathologists commonly support language, speech clarity, social communication and AAC under the NDIS.)

What we help with

We help you find your voice and connect with others more confidently. Our tailored support improves understanding and expression, social interactions, speech clarity, and use of communication tools. We also provide guidance and training for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), empowering you to communicate effectively in everyday life.

  • Expressive/receptive language and functional communication
  • Social conversation skills
  • Speech clarity and intelligibility
  • AAC advice, trials and training
  • Confidence using communication in real-world settings

How we work

Our approach focuses on practical, meaningful goals that connect directly to everyday life. Therapy is task-based and paired with simple take-home activities to support steady progress between sessions. Families and support workers are coached so strategies carry over at home, in the community, and at work. When needed, we support communication technology and other aids, and use regular reviews to track progress and celebrate what is improving.

  • Practical goals tied to daily routines
  • Task-based therapy with take-home practice
  • Coaching for families/support workers
  • AAC setup and training (where appropriate)
  • Reviews that show what’s improving

Typical goals (story-style)

Order a coffee independently—greet, ask, confirm and pay—without prompts.

Use a three-step script to make appointment calls and note details correctly.

Share weekend news using clear sentences or AAC, taking turns and asking questions.

Join small-group conversations at community activities by initiating and maintaining two exchanges.
